Remjeng Retreat began with a simple wish for a place to gather family and friends, be close to nature and make memories together.

An estate to care for, and eventually share.
When we found the estate in Värmland, we quickly knew we had found something to care for and eventually share with others.
It is still our home. Remjeng Retreat is not a traditional hotel or event facility. It is a living estate that we use, care for and continue to develop ourselves.
BOTSWANA · VÄRMLAND
Two landscapes in one story.
My own connection to nature began much earlier. I grew up in Botswana and spent a lot of time in the Kalahari and around the Okavango Delta. Canvas, camping and life close to nature became natural parts of my childhood. When I later moved to Sweden, the dream remained of one day creating something with a little of that feeling.
Värmland also felt familiar. As a child, I spent time here at my grandmother’s summer cottage in Finnskogen, so returning felt natural.
A SHARED PROJECT
A place that keeps growing.
Henrik comes from Oslo and has always had a strong connection to music and nature. Together we have let Remjeng Retreat grow step by step, shaped by the estate’s history, our ideas and what we love about being here.
When you visit, we share more than a place: we share something that means a great deal to us.
