Booking Terms, Policy & User Terms

​ 1. Booking & Payment
Booking is made directly through our website and is confirmed only after received payment.

We are also listed on other booking platforms, but prices and terms may vary. We do not guarantee that the prices on external sites match our own. It is up to the guest to choose the best option.

Full payment or a prepayment may be required when booking.

For special requests (e.g. corporate events or private arrangements/group bookings), other payment terms may apply.

1.1 Special Terms for Corporate Events and Private Arrangements

When booking private arrangements such as weddings, birthday parties, corporate events, bachelor parties, bachelorette parties, or similar, contact with Remjeng Retreat is always required before the booking can be confirmed.
Direct booking through the website or other booking platforms is not allowed for these types of arrangements without our written approval.

Special prices and additional fees apply due to higher operational costs, wear and tear, and waste management.
It is mandatory to book all available tents and/or accommodation units during the entire duration of the event.

2. Cancellation Terms
📅 30 days or more before arrival: Full refund.

📅 14 days before arrival: 50% of the booking price will be refunded.

📅 7 days before arrival: No refund (100% of the booking price is charged).

In case of no-show, the full booking amount will be charged.

2.1 Cancellation Policy for Private Arrangements & Corporate Events
Payment: Full payment must be made at the time of booking. The booking is only confirmed once payment has been received.

Cancellation:

  • In case of cancellation, regardless of time, Remjeng Retreat keeps 30% of the total amount as a booking fee.

  • Cancellation more than 60 days before arrival: The remaining 70% of the paid amount will be refunded.

  • Cancellation 30–59 days before arrival: 50% of the paid amount will be refunded (after deduction of the 30% booking fee).

  • Cancellation 0–29 days before arrival: No refund.

Force majeure:
In case of extraordinary events (such as natural disasters, pandemics), rebooking to a new available date may be offered. No refund will be given in case of force majeure, only rebooking.

3. Changes to the Booking
Changes to dates or number of guests can be made depending on availability and may involve extra costs.

Changes must be notified at least 14 days before arrival to try to meet the request.

4. Arrival & Check-out
Check-in: From 15:00 (unless otherwise agreed).

Check-out: No later than 12:00.

Late check-out can be arranged for an extra fee and only upon prior request.

5. Responsibility & Damages
Guests are responsible for treating the accommodation and its furnishings with care.

Any damage occurring during the stay must be reported immediately and may result in compensation claims.

We may require a security deposit at booking, which is refunded after the stay if no damages or violations have occurred.

We are not responsible for lost or missing items during the stay.

6. General Rules
The number of guests must not exceed the number booked.

Smoking is prohibited indoors.

Pets are only allowed upon request and approval.

Guests are expected to respect the environment and nature.

If a guest violates the rules and disturbs the peace, we reserve the right to remove the person without refund.

7. Extra Services & Add-ons
Add-ons like yoga, private chef, or guided tours are offered depending on availability and must be booked in advance.

We confirm availability and price upon request.

8. Booking via Third Parties (Airbnb, Booking.com, etc.)
We are listed on other booking platforms where prices and conditions may differ from our website.

When booking through a third party, their payment and cancellation terms apply.
We cannot change or affect a booking made via an external platform.

We recommend comparing options and terms before booking.

9. Data Protection & Privacy
We collect personal data only to process your booking.

We do not share your information with third parties, except as required by law or for payment processing.

10. Safety & Liability for Accidents
All guests stay on the property at their own risk.

We are not responsible for personal injuries, accidents, or illnesses during the stay unless caused by gross negligence on our part.

Parents and guardians are always responsible for their children and must ensure they stay safely.

Activities like swimming, sauna use, open fires, barbecuing, and nature activities are at your own risk.

We recommend guests have their own travel insurance or accident insurance covering possible incidents during the stay.

If a guest causes damage to property or furnishings, they may be liable for compensation.

11. Disclaimer
By booking with us, the guest accepts that the stay is at their own risk and that Remjeng Retreat cannot be held responsible for accidents, illnesses, or injuries during the stay.

We are not responsible for unforeseen events such as extreme weather conditions, natural disasters, or other external factors affecting the stay.

We reserve the right to refuse or remove guests who do not follow our rules or behave disruptively.

In case of force majeure, the full booking amount is refunded, but no further compensation is given.

12. Disclaimer & Changes
We do our best to ensure that all information on our website is correct. However, typos, spelling mistakes, or other unforeseen errors may occur. We cannot be held responsible for inaccuracies on the website.

All prices on our website are subject to availability and may change without notice.

We reserve the right to update or change information on our website at any time, including prices, services, or booking terms, without obligation to inform guests beforehand.

13. Fire & Fire Safety
Fires: Only allowed in designated areas and under safe conditions. It is forbidden to light fires in tents or non-approved areas.

Barbecuing: Allowed, but must be done safely. Disposable grills are not allowed.

Fire safety equipment: Fire extinguishers are available on site. Guests are encouraged to locate them upon arrival.

14. Extra Guests & Day Visitors
Overnight guests: Only the persons included in the original booking are allowed to stay overnight.

Day visitors: Must be announced and approved by us in advance. Extra charges may apply.

Maximum capacity: Each tent has a specified maximum capacity that must not be exceeded for safety reasons.

15. Age Requirement for Booking
Minimum age: To book and enter into an agreement with us, the guest must be at least 20 years old.
For group bookings, at least two people must be 20 years or older.
