Booking Terms, Guidelines and User Conditions


1. Booking and Payment (Holiday accommodation at the glamping site)


Booking is made directly via our website and is only confirmed once payment has been received.

We are also listed on other booking platforms, where prices and terms may vary. We do not guarantee that prices on external websites correspond with our own. It is the guest’s responsibility to choose the option that suits them best.

Full payment or a deposit may be required at the time of booking.

For special requests (e.g. corporate events or private events/group travel), different payment terms may apply.

 

1.1 Cancellation Policy

📅 30 days or more before arrival: Full refund.
📅 14 days before arrival: 50% of the booking amount is refunded.
📅 7 days before arrival: No refund (100% of the booking amount will be charged).

In case of no-show, the full booking amount will be charged.

 

1.2 Special Conditions for Corporate Events and Private Arrangements

When booking private events such as weddings, birthday parties, corporate events, hen or stag parties, or similar, contact with Remjeng Retreat is always required before the booking can be confirmed.

Direct booking via the website or other booking platforms is not permitted for this type of event without our written approval.

Special prices and additional costs apply due to higher operating costs, wear and tear, and waste management.
It is mandatory to book all available tents and/or accommodation units for the entire duration of the event.

1.3 Cancellation Rules for Private Arrangements and Corporate Events

  • Payment: Full payment must be made at the time of booking. The booking is only confirmed once payment has been received.

 

  • Cancellation:

  • In the event of cancellation, regardless of timing, Remjeng Retreat retains 30% of the total amount as a booking fee.

  • Cancellation more than 60 days before arrival: The remaining 70% is refunded.

  • Cancellation 30–59 days before arrival: 50% of the paid amount is refunded (after deduction of the booking fee).

  • Cancellation 0–29 days before arrival: No refund.

 

1.4 Force Majeure

In the event of extraordinary circumstances (such as natural disasters or pandemics), rebooking to a new available date may be offered. No refund is provided in cases of force majeure – rebooking only.

 

2. Changes to the Booking

Changes to dates or number of guests may be made subject to availability and may incur additional costs.

Changes must be communicated at least 14 days prior to arrival in order for us to attempt to accommodate the request.

 

3. Arrival and Check-out

Check-in: From 3:00 PM (unless otherwise agreed).
Check-out: No later than 12:00 PM.
Late check-out may be arranged for an additional fee and only by prior agreement.

 

4. Liability and Damage

Guests are responsible for treating the accommodation and furnishings with care.

Any damage occurring during the stay must be reported immediately and may result in compensation claims.

We may require a security deposit at the time of booking, which will be refunded after the stay provided no damage or rule violations have occurred. We are not responsible for lost or missing personal belongings during the stay.

 

5. General Rules

The number of guests must not exceed the number stated in the booking.

Smoking is prohibited indoors.

Pets are only permitted upon request and approval.

Guests are expected to show consideration for the environment and nature.

In the event of rule violations or disruptive behavior, we reserve the right to evict guests without refund.

6. Additional Services and Extras

Add-ons such as yoga, private chef, or guided tours are offered subject to availability and must be booked in advance.

Availability and pricing will be confirmed upon request.

 

7. Booking via Third Parties (Airbnb, Booking.com, etc.)

We are listed on other booking platforms where prices and terms may differ from those on our website.

When booking via a third party, the payment and cancellation policies of that platform apply.
We cannot modify or influence bookings made through external platforms.

We recommend comparing options and terms prior to booking.

 

8. Personal Data and Data Security

We only collect personal data required to process your booking.

We do not share your information with third parties, except where required by law or for payment processing.

 

9. Safety and Liability in Case of Accidents

All guests stay on the premises at their own risk.

Remjeng Retreat is not liable for personal injuries, accidents, or illnesses occurring during the stay, unless caused by gross negligence or intentional misconduct on our part. We are not responsible for unforeseen events such as extreme weather conditions, natural disasters, or other external circumstances that may affect the stay. Parents and guardians are always responsible for their children and must ensure that children remain safe on the premises. Activities such as swimming, sauna use, hot tubs, open fires, grilling, and staying in nature or rough terrain are undertaken at the guest’s own risk.

We recommend that guests have valid travel and/or accident insurance covering any incidents during the stay. If a guest, or members of their party, cause damage to buildings, furnishings, or the surrounding area, the guest may be held financially responsible. In the event of rule violations or disruptive, irresponsible, or inappropriate behavior, Remjeng Retreat reserves the right to remove guests without entitlement to a refund.

 

10. Disclaimer and Changes

We do our best to ensure that all information on our website is accurate. However, typographical errors, spelling mistakes, or other unintended inaccuracies may occur, and we cannot be held liable for such errors.

All prices on the website are subject to availability and may change without prior notice.

We reserve the right to update or change information on the website at any time, including prices, services, and booking terms, without obligation to notify guests in advance.

 

11. Fire and Fire Safety

Open fires: Only permitted in designated areas and under safe conditions. Lighting fires in tents or in non-approved areas is prohibited.

Grilling: Permitted, but must be carried out safely. Disposable grills are not allowed.

Firefighting equipment: Fire extinguishers are available on the premises. Guests are encouraged to locate these upon arrival.

 

12. Additional Guests and Day Visitors

Overnight guests: Only persons included in the original booking are permitted to stay overnight.

Day visitors: Must be registered and approved in advance. Additional fees may apply.

Maximum capacity: Each tent has a specified maximum capacity which must not be exceeded for safety reasons.

 

13. Minimum Age for Booking

Minimum age: To book and enter into an agreement with us, the guest must be at least 20 years old.
For group bookings, at least two persons must be 20 years of age or older.
